Planting Dreamseeds of FREEDOM
Today, hundreds of
volunteers and donors from across the U.S. have sent hundreds of
thousands of dollars worth of math textbooks, school supplies, and
secondhand clothes to Afghanistan, and they've begun sending school
supplies to local villages in Iraq and Kosovo. Operation Dreamseed has
helped build a school outside Kandahar City, Afghanistan.
All of the donations are
distributed by American soldiers. This helps establish good will and
trust with local people, who are then more likely to inform the troops
of danger. Operation Dreamseed has worked with Boy and Girl Scout
troops, church groups, schools, businesses, other service
organizations, and everyday Americans for this important cause.
With the help of our men and
women in the Armed Forces, and Heartland Heroes across the nation, we
nurture long-term solutions and initiatives that help overcome the
challenges in under-developed countries plagued by persistent conflict.
 
Operation Dreamseed continues to help our service men and women establish the foundations of freedom.
With
missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Colombia and Nicaragua, they strive to
provide the tools of education to the children who will build a future
of freedom in their countries.
